Scott Dworkin: We can never let this happen again--we do this by making sure justice prevails. We'll get through this.
Brett Pransky: These folks are finding each other & binding together & we're seeing the results of that--it's been absolutely awful.
Bob Ney: The impeachment does have to get out of the way, whether it's the hour after Biden's sworn in or before. It's up to Schumer, too.
Richard Ojeda: You may have people showing up, but they won't get anywhere near the inauguration. They've threatened to march on all 50 state capitals, & I don't know that the local law enforcement agencies are ready for that.
Sarah Burris: I did not expect them to march into Congress with the intention to kill Mike Pence & to hang Nancy Pelosi. About 10 Capitol police ofcrs have been suspended & the leader resigned.
David Yankovich: I remember 4 yrs ago doing your inauguration show; going into this inauguration it's a much better feeling. We can go to sleep at night without worrying the world will end when we wake up.
Joe Walsh: Trump has a hold on Republican-based voters like no one else has.
Jared Yates Sexton: Mitch McConnell's only actual task in the Senate is to be sure people don't believe that the gov't can do something good for people.
Nancy Flanagan: Biden was not my first choice for Pres--he came pretty far down the list for me--but I think someone I may have liked more wouldn't have been elected. I think Biden was elected b/c he was more centrist.
Bob Ney: After 2020 & COVID & how the new year began, the worst thing would be if Trump blanket-pardoned everyone.
Nina Jankowicz: Part of the reason we didn't take the threat of violence seriously on Wednesday is it was a drip, drip, drip over time. The seeds of it started with the Pizzagate Theory.
Scott Paul: There are fewer manufacturing jobs today than there were when Donald Trump took office. Our trade deficit is higher today than it was when Donald Trump took office. I think Joe Biden can do better.
Peter Montgomery, Senior Fellow, People for the American Way @petemont @peoplefor @RightWingWatch @RDispatches
Peter Montgomery: We clearly have members of Congress who are very keen to figure out what happened in the breakdown of the defense of the Capitol. The FBI & the Justice Dept have created a task force to investigate this.
Dr. Kelly Sennholz: I've been reading up on authoritarianism, & I learned that a lack of truth is their power. When they tell lies all the time, there's no way for anyone to criticize them.
