Devin Pandy: We need to demilitarize the police. Have a police force that is involved in the community that they're serving. If the only time they go into the community is to patrol, that's wrong. They should be part of the community.
Arthur Steinberg: We have an inherently racist system that was exemplified by the murder in broad daylight by police; Mr. Floyd's only crime was being black. Until we stamp out that racism, we can't improve our society. It starts with education.
Stan Karp: I would vote for an empty chair to get Trump out of office.
Bob Ney: C'mon, Rick--you know you want Trump to be turned away from being able to vote...and then lose the election by one vote! Rick: You'd think he could fill out a simple form to vote. He tried to register in FL w/ out-of-state addr. Bob: He was registered in NY.
Richard Hooker: When you make a statement like calling protesters "animals," you make what black people are already going through that much harder to deal with.
Abe Amoros: Incendiary language is completely unnecessary. Trump has essentially bred little dragons everywhere & they are breathing fire. They want to see the chaos so they can come back even stronger.
Tiffany Bond: I think it's really hard to take any thing Susan Collins says seriously. I give her as much credence as I do my 7-yr old when he's trying to watch an inappropriate cartoon.
James Curbeam: We wouldn't be where we are today if those four officers had been arrested, taken into custody right then & there. We have a tainted, broken system that hasn't woken up yet.
Bob Ney: Some of my friends tried to tell me Trump wasn't holding a Bible in front of the church--it was a fake cover over The Art of the Deal. I don't know the purpose of the photo op Rick: People literally were shot with tear glass & rubber bullets to get that photo op
Scott Dworkin: Trump found out about this virus as early as Dec. and did nothing. He lied when asked about it. He kept people on cruise ships to make the numbers look lower. Over 100,000 people have died & he claims that as a victory.
Khary Penebaker: Racism didn't just turn on when Trump became President; it's been here for years and years and years.
Pedro da Costa: It's not surprising, given that we've shut down the economy. The reason it got so bad in the first place was because of a lack of leadership & a lack of a sense of urgency in the gov't to address what we're facing.
Bob Ney: Trump is known for his tweets, and that's what he likes. He wants to push around & bully the networks themselves. If he weren't the President, they would have taken him off Twitter long ago.
