Will Bunch: Germany & Norway are among the countries who paid employers right off the bat to keep workers on the payroll so they don't have the high unemployment we do. We don't have such safety nets in place.

Bob Ney: I still think Klobuchar has to be on top of the heap for a possible Biden VP. Kamala Harris, too. Stacey Abrams is also putting herself out there for VP. The Gov. of Michigan [Gretchen Witmer] would be a good choice, too.

Pedro da Costa: There's really no point in making a minimum wage, or even a maximum wage, if we're on a burning planet no one can survive. I think when one aspect gets rolling, they all should--climate change, min. wage, etc.

PA State Rep Pat Harkins: The Federal CARES Act provides a a lot of benefits: pandemic unemployment assistance for self-employed workers, for example. We should be seeing those unemployment checks in about two weeks.

Propane Jane: When you see numbers in a pandemic, you're already getting skewed data. A population that doesn't have access to tests, to healthcare, will be harder hit. Yes, the minority populations are hit more heavily, but so are rural areas
